T'was a Day in the Life of...: Finally finished

I started this quilt probably 4 years ago in Relief Society and I just finished it a couple of weeks ago. I say that as I happily pat myself on the back :).

As days turned to months, patience began to heat

A door was graced, with shear splender
It was a surgery for two, as I remember

A year and a half, of sweet moments spent
Gave way to the Lord, two years was lent
Higher learning for her, was due for taken
Dating, dancing, a modeling career forsaken

Family and hugs, came on the return
A woman in white, caused my heart to burn
Around the block, woman and man did walk
Proposal under a tree, was all he could talk

Two months passes, in the joy of anticipation
To Manti, we traveled, for the consumation
Across the alter, we knelt in September
For all eternity, as I remember
