Weekend Fun at Papa and Grandma J's

Finally! Aria had been after her mom and dad to bring her our house to go swimming. The end of July was the luck time for summer swim fun. Nathan, Aria, Gabe and Clara along with April's 2 girl's spent almost the whole time in the pool. But that IS what they came for.
Aria was a bit nervous to slide down the slide but she did it after I think 30 - 45 minutes of climbing up and down and sitting at the top. But we have proof there she goes!

I believe these two little ones, Jovie and Clara are part fish.

Gabe is too.

Oh heck, they all are...

April, Asher, Misty and Hyrum were making sure no one drowned.

David and Larry were trying to solve the world's problems I'm sure.

If only I could read Asher's mind. Hehe. He's probably thinking oh Papa if only I could tell you what I know!

Why oh why do I not have a picture of Nathan? Probably because he likes to hide from my camera. His mom tells me it's from being the son of a professional photographer.
Here's my animal helpers. I hope that my grandchildren will have fond memories of coming to Grandma and Papa J's little hobby farm, helping with the animals, swimming in the pool, catching fish in the creek, riding the 4-wheeler, eating the food and sweets, picking the apples, making apple cider and much more. I know I'll have fond memories of them coming.
Clara, Jovie and Gabe.

Adorable even if I do say so myself.

Just June 2012

Here I am catching up on my blogging yet again. But I'm doing it! Just June is the whole month combined into one post. It's easier that way especially since June didn't have a lot of pictures.
Ethan and Papa J went fishing out behind the house. So much fun!

Golf anyone or it that rugby?

Strawberry season began with a vengeance.

I did not pick strawberries with the stems on for the rest of the summer. It was like I picked them twice and took forever! But the chickens and goats didn't complain. They liked eating all the stems.

We went to watch Nathan get his black belt in Karate. Owen wanted to go and punch everyone too so he borrowed Nathan's helmet.

Nathan was SO exhausted after his test. After all the movements and fighting test they had to do tons of sit ups and push ups.

He got his black belt. We are SO proud of him!
