Oh no! The Vacation is Almost Over! August 22, 2012

David did some research before we went to McCall and found some very yummy places to eat. The burger joint on Monday was one of them and today we went to The Pancake House. It was SO good that Larry and I will be going back to McCall just for that.
I was playing with my new camera and took the photo with the fish bowl effect. I was showing Misty (a professional photographer) the cool look it had and she said yep. Then later I heard her say to April that people should not be used in a fish bowl picture. Ooops! But I kept this picture just for the fun of it and I didn't have another one from this side of the table.

So much food!

Papa J helping Clara and Jovie on his end of the table.

Ethan is impressed with Gabe's food.

The boys love fish and so we took a tour of the small fish hatchery at McCall.
Nathan.

Everyone was a good sport about walking around the hatchery. We've been to better ones.

Can't keep a boy from running to the next thing to see.

Later that day we drove to the small town of Roseberry to see an old time store and watch a blue grass type band perform.
Clara, Jovie and Ainsley tried on some pioneer bonnets. The cutest little pioneer girls I ever saw.

The store. That's about as big as the town was. One store. A guy that was in the store who had rode a big 4 wheeler there was talking to Larry and he let Larry ride his 4 wheeler around. That's small town for you...

Inside. So much stuff!

Time for music! The stage was a cute gazebo type thing.

We were all patiently waiting (or not) for it to start.

It's starting!

The kids loved the music and danced and clapped.

Ethan isn't so sure.

Papa J either.

The best ice cream place is McCall was the next stop.

Everyone that eats there can scratch their names in the bricks.
Michael and Emma finding a spot to write.

True love...P.J. and Linda

Sweet Jovie is sharing her ice cream with Ethan. He had his own too.

I'm pretty sure he liked it.We all did.
