Apple Cider Making October 2012

We love having new Elders every year that will come and help us press the apples into cider. it's a new adventure for them so they love helping.
This year Elder Mellies and Elder Crabtree helped not only once but twice in one week.

Hard at work.

A huge crop of apples this year. This isn't even all of them. We are thankful.

I am gathering and washing the apples.

Into the hopper for grinding.

Apples ready to press.

Fresh apple cider. Cheers.

Some of the finished cider after pasteurization.
We got about 75 -85 gallons this year just from our trees.
Blessed.
