Mexican Riviera Day 6 & 7

Here it is the last two days of the cruise and we spend it all on the ship. We can tell the closer we get to the USA the colder it is getting. Not as many people are on the decks. It was nice to be in the warm sunshine for the few days that we were. The Dawn Princess cruise has many activities we can choose from on board ship as we sail back. Here are a few pictures that highlight some of the things we did the last two days.

These are the waiters that served us at dinner every night. They were great! They were both from Mexico. After the first night of the boys ordering the pop they wanted. Adrien (the head waiter) would bring them their pop automatically every night and even bring them refills with out the boys asking. He knew before we knew what we wanted. After the first night of us not putting the napkins on our lap soon enough and they put them on our laps for us we made sure we quickly put them on our lap each night after that.
We couldn't pronounce the tall ones name but the short was is Adrien.

Doesn't this dessert look yummy? Believe me it was as yummy as it looks.

I took a seminar of the chefs making a few of the favorite recipes and toured the galley. The kitchen is completely stainless steel.

Friday evening was another formal evening. The boys weren't to keen on having their pictures taken again but I had Andrew take a picture of us anyway.

This next picture was my idea. Do you really think they would have thought of this on their own?

Their was a "nightclub" called Jammers on board where 18 and older could go so that's where Michael and Andrew would go. They met some other young people their age there that they did things with them in the daytime too.

The ship activities included a scrabble time in the game room. If you know Larry you know he loves to play scrabble and so these are his new scrabble buddies that he made.
When I walked in to take the picture he was in the process of writing a 7 letter word. Go Larry! He won the game by the way.

The last evening for dessert Princess cruise has a tradition that they serve a Baked Alaska. Here are the waiters parading the cakes around the dining room and then our waiter holding ours.

I don't have any pictures of it but I also took advantage of a fitness class on board that was called Burn fat faster. It was really interesting and so I talked Larry into going back with me and getting a body analysis done to see how much toxin was in our body, water retention, fat and other stuff. It was an eye opener for me. I learned so much. The fitness trainer spent alot of time with us and personalized some pilates excercises, weight lifting and treadmill interval trainng. We learned alot about nutrition and how to properly feed our body before and after working out. I was on the right track but supposedly with this new plan I can work out in less time and get better results. So I am trying it. We also bought some thing to detox our whole body. I've always wanted to talk to a personal fitness trainer. nutrition person. When Larry and I went back one time Stuart had us do some pilates. When we started I had to keep telling myself don't look at Larry, don't look at Larry. If I did I would have started laughing. I was wondering what Larry was thinking when Stuart had us put our arms down slow like swans. It was fun though.

Here Larry is in the casino waiting for us to be called to vacate the ship. The cruise is over but not forgotten. We are planning to not wait 10 years the next time before we go on another cruise. It would also be fun to go with some other adult couples.

We go home tonight where our beds won't be turned down and we won't have chocolate on our pillows. That may be true but we go home to our family whom we haven't talked to or seen for a week. We love and miss them. We'll be glad to be home.

Goodbye Dawn Princess.
