Another first for Jessica is I believe not one that very many people have experienced. Which is letting a humming bird land on your finger while they eat. It was fun to watch Jess because at first she would scream and run off thinking they were going to hurt her. Their wings sound like bees. Her mom came out and tried it and she screamed and ran back away from the feeder when the birds came close and she heard their wings. FYI I promised Shannon I would delete that picture of her. So I decided to show them how it's done instead of just tell them. I put my hand around the feeder and quietly waited for the birds. They hover just over your fingers making your hand cold with the beating wind of their wings then when they know it's safe they land on your finger. After Jess saw one of the humming birds land on my finger and stay there as I was holding still she wanted to try again. She had success!
I'm not so sure about this... This is pretty cool after all...
Is this for real? Wow...

I'm still afraid of the hummingbirds. Way to go Jess!!!
They don't sound like bees, they sound like helicoptors. Good for you for holding a frog and a hummy, Jess!
Jess says "That they kinda sound like both". "Thank you Aunt Rach and Aunt Misty". Jess says.
Aria likes Jessie's finger nail polish and says she wants to try and let a hummingbird land on her finger when we come down if they're still there in June.
Hummingbirds are so cool! I hadn't really paid attention to them until last year when our friends had a feeder that they came to. They are beautiful. Good for Jessie for trying to hold the frog and the bird!
I have never held a hummingbird! But I do think I've held a frog before; great job, Jessica! It's usually nice to try new things. Hope you're doing great, Linda!
