Our last full day in McCall Idaho did not disappoint. Larry and I started our day with a bike ride to and through the State park located in McCall. We towed along Ethan and Ainsley.
I started with them on which by the way was up hill.
Larry took that last bit up hill and rode them down into McCall. We probably rode 10 - 15 miles.
Beautiful.
Larry loved the pancake restaurant so much we went there for lunch on Thursday.
OK we will go back to McCall for the cinnamon roll for sure!
Nathan shared with us so we could taste it.
Cousin love...
Gabe wanted a turn in the bike cart. So I rode him from the restaurant back to the condo.
I absolutely love Gold Forks Hot Springs. The best way to end of family reunion vacation.
Larry and I with the grand kids.
So relaxing...
Jovie, April and Ainsley.
Asher was wishing he got to get in the water too.
Michael and Emma playing on the huge giant chess board.
Papa J and Nathan got in a game or two.
Hyrum loved the warm water.
Towards the end of the day the adults gravitated over to the hot and hottest pools.
Larry and Linda aka Papa J and Grandma J
The water coming out of the rock is straight from the source and is so hot! Larry was directing it away from my back.
OK Larry's THE MAN. He went to the hottest of hot pools first and didn't even flinch...much.
Misty flinched.
Michael is debating whether to put his feet in or not. Emma is in and is telling him "no problem".
Maybe a small problem. He looks like he's giving birth.
Ok. I admit it's hot. Ouch! Controlled pain. Of course we've given birth.
Shannon's heading over to try the hot water or to laugh at us. I like this picture of her.
To get to the hot springs we drive through cattle pastures and the cows are every where. Owen correlates the hot springs with cows so I thought it was appropriate that this cow was in the road as we were leaving to say good bye to us. I took this picture for Owen.
Family vacation is over but to McCall Idaho we will go again. It's a beautiful area with lots of things to do.
I'm grateful that most all of the family could be there for part or all of the time.
Until the next one...
