John and Denise invited us to Utah to watch a BYU Cougar football game when we were at their place a year ago for Larry's missionary reunion. We were excited to take them up on it.

John is a die hard Cougar fan. He put BYU flags on his car for our drive to the stadium.

Walking into the stadium we got to here the drum line of the band. The band brought back memories of listening to Misty throughout her high school years.
Another treat we got to experience was attending General Conference.
Denise, their daughter, myself and Larry went. John wasn't able to.

The first presidency are the last to arrive.
President Eyring, Our prophet President Monson and President Uchdorf . It is such an honor to be able to be in the same room as these great men and listen to their testimonies of the gospel and the Savior.
While the men attended the priesthood session Denise and I window shopped. City Creek Mall in Salt Lake City is very cool. So big and lots of stores among other things. Like this fountain.
I have to admit that I enjoy visiting Utah but I wouldn't want to live there. It's so crowded.
Fun trip and we are looking forward to visiting with John and Denise again. When BYU comes to play our states cougars we get to host the weekend. Looking forward to it.
