Ho ho ho! It's that time of year where the family gets together for togetherness, good food and good fun. Which we were lucky enough to do several times this past year. But specifically it's time for Chirstmathanks! We are grateful for our blessing and our Savior Jesus Christ.
Let the fun begin.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care.
The tree didn't have to stay lonely for long.
Ainsley playing music.
Owen helping Ethan open his gift of Cars 2 books
Clara is happy for getting her doll present
but sure wishing that opening it would not take so many seconds.
Hyrum loves the blocks
that his Papa and Grandma J got.
Nathan wanted racer things
that spin and spin around a ring.
Gabe is opening his Garfield comic book
He read Papa and Grandma's so much that he received his own to look.
Rachel teasing Sean is not anything new
He doesn't seem to care or get blue.
Mae loves Barbies we all know
a smile like that is such a nice show.
Larry put himself in charge of getting Joshua's present this year
So he got him some truck gear.
Aria has been wanting something for a very long time
Papa and Grandma J came through in time.
A crowd of family is such a blessing
I'm sure glad that their isn't one missing.
Christmathanks eve we had a fondue
where the picture of that is I have no clue
but Christmathanks dinner we shared a huge feast
of a turkey and not a roast beast.
From bottom left - Emily, Michael, April, Matt, Sean, Rachel, Larry, Joshua, Shannon, Elders. Misty and her family left right after opening presents so they could get to David's mom's Thanksgiving dinner. She has cancer and all of David's immediate family was going to be there. So it was important they be there.
The children got a table all their own
I do believe Jessie's missing her cousins that are more grown.
Bottom left - Ainsley, Owen, Ethan, Jess, Mae and Jovie.
A toast is in order for such a fun day
let's hurry and eat so we can go play.
A family game of Guesstures is played that night
Oh my, some of the actions were such a fright.
Rachel choosing a card
that I hope is hard.
Because I'm on the opposite team
so it may seem.
Round after round we did play
the winning team it sure made their day.
Elder, Shannon, Jessica, Rachel, Sean and Joshua.
Being all together was such a joy for me
though I do believe
that for my tree
it was happy to see them all leave.
