The chickens are not cute little chicks any more but that didn't seem to deter Ainsley and Jovie from holding them and thinking that they are cute.
Larry has been busy trying to finish the chicken house. I don't think that we can call it a coop, it's more like a house. Progress is being made. Door is up and windows are in the chicken side. Still needing the door put in the garden shed side.
Nesting boxes and roosting rods are installed. The chickens are enjoying their house but they sure want to go outside. When I open the door they come investigating. I haven't let them out yet. Larry is going to be installing a fenced chicken run to the side.
See how curious they are. We are still a couple of months from getting any eggs. We are in anticipation for them. We will eat some and share with our kids then if we have extra I wonder if we should try and sell any? Make a little money for the feed.
